There was a small surprise when ninth rankedKangoeroes (18-15) edged on the road 7th ranked Circus Brussels (18-15) 57-56 on Wednesday. Swedish forward Zaba Bangala (201-2001) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Nick Stampley (193-1999, college: Troy) accounted for 12 points and 9 rebounds. Kangoeroes' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Demetric Horton (196, college: NC A&T, agency: Players Group) came up with 9 points and 7 rebounds and French center Jared Ambrose (204-2002) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Brussels in the defeat. Mechelen moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Brussels.
